I don’t know what happened. January came and it was cold and I wore clothes everyday – not-new ones like I always do – but I had nothing to say. I think because a year after my resolution to buy nothing new just became too easy – no longer a challenge, just a way of life. So it sort of seemed silly to keep posting.
The first 3 months of my not-new year were fun but tough at times and posting every day made me stick to my challenge. Making it public made it real and knowing I had to take pictures of what I was wearing everyday not only helped me prove to myself and others that I could do it but gave me the incentive to seek out new styles and create not-new outfits that would inspire me and others.
But now wearing not-new is just normal, it’s not hard, it’s just life and so I’ve lost my incentive to report.
